Compression stockings have this effect
Compression stockings enclose the leg from the outside, exerting a certain amount of pressure on the tissues and veins. This pressure relieves the veins and lymph vessels by reducing the flow of fluid from the capillaries into the tissues, and the venous vessels are compressed to a smaller diameter, allowing the defective venous valve to close again and function as a regurgitation valve. The external pressure also increases blood flow and promotes venous return to the heart. The leg is swollen as tissue fluid is reabsorbed by the veins and can drain better.
We offer flat or round knitted compression stockings
In the circular knitting process, the compression stockings are knitted seamlessly from the toe to the waistband. The mesh size can be adjusted as desired and a stocking can be woven with different circumferences. The larger the stitches, the less pressure. Circular knitted socks offer a high level of elasticity.
With a flat knitting machine, the mesh size remains the same and by changing the number of stitches, different circumferences are produced. A compression sock made of jersey is less elastic and therefore forms a more stable wall.
