The history of the Scharpenberg company started in 1998 occupying 150 m² work space. Since then, we have been expanding significantly in terms of space and extension seven further branches have been opened since. In the beginning, Orthopädie-Technik Scharpenberg was a one-man company – today we employ more than 90 qualified employees.
Due to constant growth, the administration department moved into its own premises in 2012 and since the completion of the new company building in Neptunallee 1a, all departments except for our separate rehab location are once again united at one location.

Scharpenberg Headquarters as a centrepiece of our company, we offer high level of experience in this area, coupled with state-of-the-art technology. Our employees ensure the best quality for medical aids that are individually made for you. We do not set any limits, but place particular emphasis on your needs here as well.

We are also there for you personally in our branches in Stralsund, Pritzwalk, Perleberg, Hagenow, Demmin and Wolgast and are happy to provide you with comprehensive advice. In addition to our medical supply store, our orthopaedic workshop with an attached consultation centre is also located in our headquarters in Rostock expanding on 1,000 m². Whether orthosis construction with innovative and modern composite materials for athletes and children or prosthesis construction in all technologys and production processes as well as foot bedding or scoliosis corset construction – we are your partner in all relevant areas and always strive for your well-being.
