Little Darian from Rostock was born with dysmelia. He received his first arm prosthesis at the age of 2. Ralph Scharpenberg built him a myoelectronically controlled arm prosthesis so that he could learn to use two hands at an early age. For his young age, he went along with everything and immediately loved his “new arm”.
Recently, Darian received a prosthetic steering aid for his new running wheel and started “riding” right away – but see for yourself:
He always likes to visit us here in Neptunallee. He then whizzes through our rooms and likes to eat a biscuit or two while he’s at it.
